Don't of sadness make me an inseparable clone

Surrounded by darkness not a shred of light

Let my tears alone be a witness to my plight

I have to bear, in my heart, the pain I have sown

Give me time to overcome my new found grief

Time is a healer it may take long, it may be brief

Who says life is all happiness or a bed of roses

My traumatic experience that I have barely borne

I have to learn, from my heart, memories to erase
