SNMC announces the 4  2-hour workshop sessions [ Fridays July 16-August 6, 6.30-8.30pm SNMC center  on internet and software tools & skills hands on activities for kids and parents. Please register by   Sunday July 11.  Must bring own laptop with wireless internet connection capability. Only 10 students  per group , will be taken first come first serve basis. Group 1 - Grade 4-7

Session  1: Getting connected in a safe way – hotmail/Facebook, Msn, chat rooms, giving personal information.

Session  2: Software – Power point, word, excel, windows media player  Session  3: Research – .org/.info/, library catalogues Session 4: Islamic websites, Quranic resources

 Group 2: Grade 8-12

Session 1:  Searching  scholarly reliable sources, news websites/blogs of interest etc (rss feeds, google reader) –

introducing to websites like reddit, blogspot, tumblr, flickr, twitter etc

Session 2: Software – excel, iTunes/media player Session 4: Word Session 4: Software Power Pint Presentation and hands on experience
