FSR100: INTRODUCTION TO SCRIPTURAL EXEGESIS (TAFSIR) (1 credit)

A unique and thought-provoking introductory course into the science of Scriptural Exegesis (Tafsir). This 3 months course will feature a stimulating introduction to the science of exegesis, its history, scholars, process and methodology. Moreover, it will answer important questions such as:

How was Exegesis (Tafsir) utilized in:

a- The establishment of Creed and theology?

b- Comprehension of Historic events?

c- Deriving laws, legal maxims and jurisprudence?

Moreover, this course will go over the exegesis of crucial and vital chapters necessary for daily life, including those that convey prophecies and miracles that apply to us today!
