Description
Crusades - presentation by Cordova Academy
This workshop will present an overview of the history and legacy of one of the greatest watershed moments in world history: the Crusades. Together we will journey through an account of some of the primary battles and expeditions initiated by the Crusades, the Mongol invasion of Muslim lands following the crusades, the rise of the Ottoman Empire, and the emergence of great figures such as Salahuddeen Al-Ayyubi (May the Mercy of Allaah be upon him). The workshop will also discuss the lasting impact of the crusades until modern times, as well as the important lessons which we should learn from this difficult period in Islamic history.
